BEAT PLASTIC POLLUTION

Plastic! Plastic! Plastic disposed everywhere.
Agreable for their useful nature as affordable utensils and packaging for goods.
Dumped or disposed carelessly, they become a menace, an eyesore and a danger to your health and mine. No measure so far sufficient to control the spiraling environmental disaster.

A trip along a road or highway and it’s evidence that plastics are replacing our beautiful environment, day by day like an ogre that’ll never have its tummy full.
As an association of lady spouses of National Assembly members we :
✓ Observe Objective six on environment.
✓Confuct tree planting initiatives.
✓ Support our patron’s clarion call for green programmes.
Today, September 26th, the World Environmental Health Day marks global efforts towards environmental health- a branch of public health aiming to protect human health by improving the environment’s wellbeing. The theme is ‘Beat plastic pollution’.
Save the environment, #BeatPlasticPollution.
